Meet Our Fall 2016 Interns: Sarah & Cameron!
Introducing our newest victims…we mean interns for the Fall 2016 semester, Sarah and Cameron! Welcome to the team, ladies!
Hi Everyone, my name is Sarah and I’m excited to join WhirlWind Creative as a Fall 2016 Social Media and Marketing Intern! I have a passion for marketing and branding from the business and the creative side. I can’t wait to expand my knowledge at WhirlWind and gain hands-on experience in the marketing realm. As a fifth-year senior at UNC-Charlotte, I am finishing up my degrees in Marketing, Art and German and am ready get a head start on my career in marketing!
After graduation, I hope to find a marketing position where I work directly with clients to help solve their creative marketing needs. On the weekends I am usually working as a Sales Associate at Anthropologie where I get to work in the world of fashion and design – two of my favorite things! When I’m not busy with school and work, you can find me sewing, reading up on the newest cars or browsing Pinterest for my next culinary feat. I’m excited to be part of the WhirlWind team and can’t wait to see where this opportunity takes me!
Hello, office! My name is Cameron Durham and I am a senior at UNC Charlotte, majoring in public relations and minoring in political science. I am originally from Burlington, North Carolina which is between Raleigh and Greensboro, just under two hours north of I-85. I enjoy going home in the little free time I have to visit my younger brother and our four dogs. My family spends a lot of time at Emerald Isle so going home usually means going to the beach, and that is fine by me.
Since freshman year of college, I have been a sister of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. It is not all that you see from the movies. I currently hold the position of New Member Educator for the National Panhellenic Conference at UNCC; meaning I am on the executive board that governs all sororities. My job specifically is to help sorority women maintain high grades and handle any instances of hazing, exclusion, things along those lines. One of my favorite things about moving to Charlotte has been all the different and unique restaurants that are in the area. At this moment Krazy Fish in Plaza Midwood is my favorite. I recommend giving it a try 🙂
