EpiCentre Hosts ACC Fan Central This Weekend
Popular entertainment destination welcomes all ACC fans

CHARLOTTE, NC – For the second consecutive year the ACC will crown its champion in uptown Charlotte and EpiCentre will serve as headquarters for all ACC football fans before, during and after the game.

The festivities begin with ACC Fan Central this Friday night, December 2 at 7 p.m., featuring special appearances by ACC team mascots, marching bands and cheerleaders beginning at 9 p.m. Fans in ACC football gear will also receive free admission to EpiCentre hotspots BlackFinn, Kazba, Mez, Mortimer’s, StrikeCity, SUITE and Whisky River until 11 p.m. on Friday night. EpiCentre is located at 210 E Trade Street in uptown Charlotte, just blocks from Bank of America Stadium and easily accessible from the LYNX Blue Line.

EpiCentre will host the ACC Championship Chase 5K Post Race Celebration Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. The Post Race Celebration will include live music, food, ACC mascots, cheerleaders and an awards ceremony for race participants. The Inaugural ACC Championship Chase 5K presented by Harris Teeter takes place Saturday morning at 7 a.m. The race’s start/finish line is on South Tryon Street between 3rd & 4th Streets in uptown Charlotte. The weekend culminates with the Dr Pepper ACC Championship on Saturday night inside Bank of America Stadium; kickoff is set for 8 p.m. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN. The ACC Championship pits Atlantic Division Champion No. 21 Clemson (9-3) against Coastal Division Champion No. 5 Virginia Tech (11-1) for the opportunity to represent the conference as ACC Champion in the Discover Orange Bowl on January 4 in Miami.
